What are your rates?

My rates for therapy and consultations start at $175/hour. Potential clients receive a free 15 minute consultation to assess for fit prior to starting treatment. Rates for supervision start at $100/hour.

Do you accept any insurance?

As of January 1, 2023, I will be in network with Aetna, Cigna, and Optum. I also accept Baycare EAP and BCBS of MA.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Reach out to me to discuss your options. I strive to offer an affordable rate to whomever I am working with.

How often will we meet?

This depends! For counseling clients, that will depend on your level of need, though I typically like to meet weekly for the first month in order to make sure we have time to get to know and get comfortable with each other. For supervisees, we'll meet weekly in order to keep you on track with your hours.

How do I find your client portal?

This is the link to my client portal. Active clients will need their date of birth to login and will be able to access practice documents and payment, as well as session links.

What do all the titles mean?

Great question - it can get confusing! Some common acronyms you may see include LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), and LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). The first two depend on what state the clinician is practicing in; different states have different ways of identifying counselors. Counselors and social workers undergo different training, but both have masters' degrees and can generally perform the same jobs; they cannot prescribe medication. Psychologists have their PhDs (or PsyDs) and cannot prescribe medication. Psychiatrists (MDs) and psychiatric nurse practitioners (APRN) can prescribe medications.
